André Soares

BOARD PRESIDENT

André brings a strong scientific background and a naturally analytical approach to his role as President. Currently pursuing a PhD in Physics, he continues to deepen his critical thinking while staying focused on what truly matters, approaching challenges with clarity, care, and a sense of long-term responsibility.
Over the years, he has been involved in volunteering initiatives across Europe, contributing to a range of community projects and gaining a broad perspective on social impact. As a teacher and mentor, he is deeply committed to education and to supporting others in their growth, valuing empathy, accessibility, and meaningful exchange.
He works in a collaborative way and communicates ideas clearly, with a preference for simplicity, intention, and approaches that serve both people and purpose.

Rita dias

BOARD SECRETARY

Rita supports the work of the board as Secretary, helping keep processes organised and communication clear. She is responsible for maintaining records, preparing minutes, and contributing to transparent and well-informed decision-making.
Soon to graduate as a medical doctor, she approaches her work with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to others. Alongside her studies, she takes part in amateur theatre and stays involved in her local community through different initiatives, maintaining a close connection to people and everyday contexts.
Her way of working is collaborative and attentive, with a focus on clarity, consistency, and what is necessary at each moment.

Octávio Soares

BOARDER TRESURER

Otávio is a headmaster and teaches at the undergraduate level. He holds a degree in Philosophy and is currently pursuing a PhD in Administration, following a path that brings together reflection and institutional practice with a clear sense of direction.
His daily work with hundreds of children informs a sustained attention to the long term, where questions of sustainability and heritage are approached through continuity, care, and the example set in everyday contexts.
He has contributed to volunteering and socially initiatives, maintaining a close connection to the communities around him. He approaches his work, and life more broadly, with a strong sense of purpose, guided by responsibility and an awareness of what is carried forward over time.
